  1. $55 for dinner….pasta..ummm no, that salad was very lacklustre. As a Canadian that US dollar turns into much more than $55. I don’t think the lunch price would tempt me either….thanks for sharing!

  2. Hey! Our genie told us that this was the LAST sailing where Jamie's Italian was going to be an option on Symphony. Royal's deal with Jamie Oliver has expired. During dry dock the restaurant was going to transition to one of Royal's other Italian restaurant. The burrata appetizer and the lemon cheesecake dessert were some of my FAVORITE options on the ship.

  3. Giovanni's is where you ate on Wonder of the seas.

Jamie's is only on the following ships:

    Anthem of the Seas.

    Harmony of the Seas.

    Ovation of the Seas.

    Quantum of the Seas.

    Symphony of the Seas.

    Navigator of the Seas.

    Mariner of the Seas.

    Spectrum of the Seas.

  4. Commercial for Viking cruises. I don't know why some people don't like your shirt. I happen to like that shirt. Hmm. Oh, well…..I guess it takes all kinds!!

  5. I got L’Oréal advert and a movie one…the Outlander guy getting dating advice from Celine Dion one…🤷‍♀️
If I’m absolutely had to go to an upcharge restaurant and it was all inclusive for one price, I’d be trying ALL the desserts. The last upcharge one I went to, each dish was a cost. I was travelling with a friend and it was super uncomfortable because the way the staff were behaving made it feel more like a restaurant for a couple. It certainly didn’t endear paying extra for a meal to me.

  6. Just wondering Morgan, i was thinking of going to either Jamie's or chops grlll for lunch on our march 2024 cruise on the quantum of the seas ❤ which one would you personally suggest we try? This will be our first royal carribean Cruise that we have done 💖

  7. ❤ All looks yum 🙂 although I don't eat fish or seafood, so could not eat that meal. But wow you had my eyes open at the desserts 🙂 i often have dessert as my main meal and that brownie and tiramasu looked delicious ❤❤❤

  8. HG unstoppable cleaning fluid AD Wow that Cheesecake looked so delicious sure was a big potion 🫣🤫
Your meal did looked stunning but the assortment of chilies 🥵 oh boy 🤣.
    Have a Good weekend 🥰

  9. Jamies Italian is a good restaurant. Been a couple of times on Harmony, once at dinner, once at lunch. Have to say you can save some money going to specialty restaurants at lunch. The atmosphere is not as nice but the cost can be halved. Menu tends to have less on it but the food is the same as you would get at Dinner.

  10. I’m not a dessert person, but those did look lovely. I could make room for a little of any of those.
My advert was for the Mandalorian, it’s streaming now

  11. Wow, that food looks really good. $55 for dinner seems high. I would definitely choose lunch instead. I got your book and loved it. My commercial was for Capital One.

  12. How could anybody not like that shirt?! I usually don’t eat at the specialty upgrade restaurants when on a cruise, but I have a few times.

  13. Wait. What? Folks do not like your shirt? I think it looks so fashionable! We're fashionistas, after all. As far as portion sizes, we prefer huge portions when dining out at home, because we only dine out weekends, so there's leftovers for Monday when our schedules make it harder to cook a meal. On vacations, we do eat smaller portions because we don't have leftovers, except when we want to order extra and take them back to our timeshares, which have full kitchens (like when you're in Florida).

  14. Yay! You ordered a bunch of the dishes that I wanted to see. They looked really good. I might have ordered the aubergine parmigiana or the carbonara. Going for lunch instead of dinner is a great tip.

  15. I do find portions tend to be too big. I don't remember the last time I had desert at a restaurant. It's one of the reasons I like buffets; you only take as much as you want (which is hopefully the amount you can eat).
