  2. Wish I would have seen this months ago. Booked a cruise in Jan going to Ensenada. We leave the end of April and I’m on alert with everything going on out there. Guess I’ll just stay on the ship.

  3. I just went on a cruise in Dec 2022 which stopped in Cozumel. I have been to Cozumel so many times and my husband and I opted to stay on the ship. We really enjoyed having the ship to ourselves and hung out by the pool.

  4. I and my extended family went to Cozumel, Roatan, and Nassau back in 2012.. Cozumel was pretty relaxed at that time but we stayed in our respective lane and just had fun snorkeling on the beaches and drinking at the bars.. Roatan in the Honduras was a little sketchy to say the least but we still had a blast 💥!! 😊🚢🛳🏝 I also just took a 5 day trip to st croix in the usvi back in September and got stuck because of hurricane Ian 😅😅flights were cancelled to ft Lauderdale for 4+ days luckily I got one out 😅🌊🌀

  5. Be cautious wherever you travel. Pay attention to your surroundings. Don’t draw attention to yourself with flashy jewelry etc. I’ve traveled to many places that are listed as number 3. I’ve never had any issues.

  6. great advice from the state department always. my advice? don't act like an idiot tourist and you'll probably be ok. keep your wits about you like you would in any city in america. i feel very safe in the day time in mexico but definitely would not be wandering around at night…just like i would not wander around tampa at night either…lol. how many states in mexico…hmmmm…i say 37? lol…don't really know.

  7. Interesting. Baja had a "situation" for a weekend. Civilians weren't hurt. All back to normal..cahos? Gee…if the killings that happen here at home happened in Mexico, I wonder what the media would say. There is more violance here at home from crazy civilians to civilians motivated simply by hate. Just saying, let's look at ourselves as a society before pointing fingers.
    Safe travels.

  8. My wife and I have been to every single port in Mexico that carnival cruse stops ,we just came back from the Mexican Rivera cruse that's the one that stops in puerto vallarta, mazatla and cabo san lucas, it was fantastic our third time doing it, let me tell you I feel so safe in this cities the people are so friendly and always looking out for you, to make it short I don't see all the shit I see in los angeles like homeless and drug actics and mental people and I don't hear about car Jack's and people getting rov in the most rich city in the world in the middle of the day, I think you just don't like Mexico because it has to much culture and you none at all, Mexico is beautiful!!

  9. Can you tell me about if you're scheduled to go to a certain port and they don't go there for whatever reasons what options do you have do you get a refund on your cruise discount or something else very curious we're going to Cosmel in January on the Horizon
