  3. I'm half colombian. I was there a week ago. cartagena, Santa Marta, and Barranquilla beaches are not that nice at all mediocre food ! Most islands in colombia the waters are beautiful! But land itself not so nice I rather go to the riviera maya cancun, playa del carmen, cozumel, isla mujeres (beautiful turquoise waters) the same as the Caribbean islands ๐Ÿ going to either Jamaica or Aruba in a couple of months ๐Ÿ’™

  5. To Gem: Jamaicans do go abroad because the economy is suffering there. So many people, non Jamaicans, when saying another island is more prosperous, etc. do often throw in: "Yes, but Jamaica has my heart". It is like a collection of all the others. The other islanders even borrow some Ja. colloquial talk. In Barbados, when the Queen was removed as head of state, and there was mass celebrations there, I fell over laughing when more than one Bajan was captured on utube saying, "we going to yard".

  14. You forget the most visited island in the Caribbean and I think it is the #1 "Dominican Republic" I have already been visited some of those islands and it has no comparison with the Dominican Republic that country has everything, and its people are so affectionate I love it โค๏ธ

All the islands mentioned are in the Caribbean and part of the Caribbean but just don't know why America and Holland want to continue claiming land that needs to be returned back to the Caribbean. Don't know why Jamaica is on the best for – I wouldn't go there not even most Jamaicans in the UK want to return.

  41. I absolutely love San Pedro Ambergris Caye in Belize, Central America by the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Very accessible by various airlines, land transportation which back packers use to benefit from the beautiful landscape.

  45. We came back from Jamaica on Friday. We were in Negril. We stayed at the RIU palace by Bloody Bay for 16 days. It was great. Missing the beautiful beach, and the beautiful green trees, and plants. Friendly people
